It really is not brave to do a B2B, and any foolhardiness would be those who allow time for lunch.
The only problem with B2B is that in some airports (eg BRU) it’s impossible to join the departure lounge when arriving from the UK, you would have to go through passport control twice and security, leaving not enough time to catch the same aircraft back to LHR.
EDIT: Only security not passport control, as KARFA ,correctly, pointed out below.
