I am a titanium member and kept a good and clean record on my marriott account. Last week I was trying to book hotel for anniversary trip and the points needed are little higher than what i had, so I contacted one of my friend who might be able to help. But my friend was not able to make the transfer (because his accounts was just combined or something), so he recommond a guy that willing to do the favor(not for free, of course). Then I got 10k pointed transferred to my account and made the reservation. Sad thing happened, I got email from marriott loyalty team claiming that there is a suspicious points sharing activity about my account, and cancelled the transfer, meanwhile my reservation was also cancelled.
I write to the loyalty team and got no response, so I called the Bonvoy customer service line and was told that my account will be set normal ONLY if the guy call marriott and authorize the transfer, however my calls are blocked and cannot cantact him any longer. Having realized that I am deceived, what else can I do to set my account normal???
I am really eager to know because I still want to use my rewards and points for my anniversary trip in Oct
