Yet just another real life example that do NOT book airline tickets with Chase travel portal (operated by Expedia). For whatever you might have saved on out of pocket cash because you used point to book - when and if anything happened you need to modify / cancel your booking or the airline change schedule - you are totally out of luck because you cannot directly resolve this with the airline due to your booking is make thru 3rd party travel agency...
When will people ever learn such peril, after UR Travel Portal exists for how many years and every few months there would be "Help" posts here or else where?
This was the first time I've had trouble with the Chase travel portal. Booked many hotels and flights through them and haven't had an issue until now. I would of booked directly with the airlines, but since it was an international flight and I'm booking with my card, the 5x bonus for the card purchase is nice.
