- Check in EXST at the airport
- Scan the EXST boarding pass at the gate, or you'll lose the seat (gate agents understand when you tell them it is an EXST seat)
- If you bought the comfort seat with miles, you won't earn miles
- Let a flight attendant know that you bought the seat (somebody wanted our middle seat one time because it was in an exit row)
- When buying with miles there should be no taxes, since it's not a real person, but we're usually charged and it's too much effort to argue
- 12 minutes is not bad for booking; it usually takes me 45 minutes on the phone
