We haven't been to Hadahaa for many years and are due to go back in December. I was excited to see this addition to the dining scene (prices apart!). But I am very confused. The blurb in the menu states:
We believe in "Source Local, Cook Global" - our menu reflects that commitment. We serve fresh seafood from the ocean to your plate, using sustainable tuna and white fleshed fish sources directly from local fishermen.
But the menu is full of Scottish salmon, Japanese hamachi, Hokkaido scallops etc.
How does this chime with either "local" or "fresh" (except in the sense that it has never been frozen, maybe?)? Is the marketing spiel just warm and fuzzy nonsense; or do they actually use local seafood?
