The rebranding appears to be ongoing. In Shinjuku and Shibuya the Tokyu part has been removed from the buildings and the “squiggle” design is prominent along with the new name: “Hands”. Walking by in Ginza we noticed the old style “Tokyu Hands” still marking out the building.
Most very definitely the Nihonbashi branch, the original building is dripping with its own sense of History.

How long has Daiso’s “Standard Products” offshoot been established?
Personally very surprised to see the standard of competition set for Cainz, Nitori and Muji, let alone the Department stores.
Personally , the range of goods developed by the "old" Hands was what made it interesting. Also the range of imported goods for sale has declined. More and more Cainz branded goods will appear on the shelves.
