Change FFP number on AA award, BA flight
I booked 2 PE seats on flight BA266 PDX>LHR using my remaining American points. I have no status on AA but do have 75K Gold on Alaska which of course equates to One World Emerald which then gives me free seat choice on BA flights if I book using Alaska.

I tried to book seats today and was greeted with $131 per seat surcharge from BA. Is there a way to get the BA system to recognize my OW status and give me the seats for free? Or am I SOL?
