Correct. What’s supposed to happen, as I understand it, is ticketing team get to it, realise card details are expired, ask customer by email to call in with card details, then ticket is prioritised for reissue. Those emails seem somewhat unreliable though.

General consensus though is it isn’t something to worry about until 72 hours before the flight. And if you call in at that point then it should be prioritised for ticketing.

In my personal experience I’ve often nudged it any time I’ve called in about something else. Normally one of these times has coincided with a quieter time for the ticketing team and it’s resulted in it getting sorted.
