Yes, that's a possibility, it's more likely in a couple of weeks from now. Your reservation - if it's all on BA metal - is totally safe, nothing is at risk there if ticketing is only done the night before departure. And definitely keep an eye on it. But the standard advice is to only call up 48 hours before departure. Calling up now is actually contributing to the slowing down of this process, so best not to do it. By all means use this forum to avoid phone calls to BA, it's usually easier.
