Great stay overall. I am a Globalist and use my suite certificate - got confirmed to King Suite - I think it's a City view. What's rather weird abt the suite is that the desk is placed in the master bedroom - along the wall window. IMO - would have been more functional to have the desk in the living room - make living room the work space vs the bed room, but I digress ....

Breakfast is really good - mixed of ala carte options and buffet. Food quality is great and assortment is good.

Overall design is very nice. A lot of artworks incorporated all over the hotel. The headboard represent manhole cover - sounds weird - but the end result IMO is stunning.

Staff service is very good. I had to work on US PST, and they let me use a corner table on the lobby lounge - just behind the bar - near an outlet. Very convenient locations too with airport limo bus just across the way, station pretty much next door, with lots of shopping and food options.

We are planning a trip on late September but do not see suite availability right now.

Anyone knows whether they have connecting rooms? If not - I might book Hyatt House next door for their suite.

If anyone visit Kanazawa, make sure to stop by Kenrokuen garden. As far as formal garden goes, I think this is one of Japan's best.

There is a lounge? I thought HCs don't have any? Is there an evening food spread?
