Seriously though, even my mood as a huge dog lover would turn quickly if said pet was anxious, exciteable or aggressive.
Being a wolfhound owner and I love my dog, if I ever contemplated taking her into the cabin, I'd buy a second seat as an obligation to not infringe on others. To be honest, when pups, mine fly but it's as baggage....they have far more room in a properly sized crate than they have in the cabin!
