Going back a few years but Mrs gcuk and myself were in the first class cabin on South African Airways. A male cabin crew member was distributing newspapers. He gave one to me but ignored my wife. As he moved away my wife said ‘excuse me’ but before she could complete the request for a newspaper he replied ‘oh I’m sorry madam but we don’t carry magazines on this flight.

Not a mistake he was likely to make again.
