Anyone know how strict they are? Would they accept a direct deposit from Charles Schwab (instead of messing around with my paycheck)?
You can read the DPs reported on Doctor of Credit website and decide what might work for you. Schwab did not work based on a single report while Fidelity had numerous failures reported. In fact most bank to bank transfer do not work.

BTW, you will find a lot more answers on Doctor of Credit blog when it comes to bonus related to bank products then asking here (most here are for the CC related)
