Take the non-stop flight. Why would you want to lengthen the travel experience by several hours, introduce the potential for problems, have a much less convenient flight time and the annoyance of deplaning/re-boarding just due to the seat for what is neither a long nor overnight flight? I'd take KLM and an inner seat so you have aisle access and no one has to climb over you. There's a pop-up privacy divider between the seats, and each seat pair is offset a few inches vertically (i.e. not in plane), so you really aren't that aware of the person next to you. KLM J food is fine.
Thanks to all of you for the insight. I knew I was being silly and just needed the sanity check in case I missed something. I will indeed take the KLM and forgo my pod for this trip 🥲. I have no pressing need to be anywhere so the possibility of disruption isn't a big deal, nor is connecting as I like airports (don't we all?). But the benefits of the KL flight just outweighed the rest. There was one centre aisle seat left so all good. Again, my thanks for the opinions.
