Certainly in cases where the car is useful, great to get. If we do go to a "wrong side of the road" destination (looking at you, UK
), I have rarely driven there and, frankly, prefer not to. Especially in London proper. But leaving it at the airport parking could work as that is minimal driving.
You're right. If you're staying in central London, then hiring (using) a car is nuts - much like I'd never hire a car if staying in central Manhattan.
