You have obviously never flown CE to Edinburgh on a Friday night! To say there is 'never' an issue in CE finding space for CE bags is wrong, unfortunately. The reason I try to board near the front is so that I don't have the stress of finding somewhere for my bag if I board late. In fact, I have started to move away from Row 1 if I just have my rucksack for the same reason - just not worth it!
