I get that, but it's not generally that bad on any CE flight I've flown and I've flown a lot this year. Apart from flying back from CPH where one entitled lady tried hogging an entire locker for effectively her shopping, there's never an issue in CE finding space for CE bags.

Also, I think you miss the point I was replying to. It's not wanting to board first, it's the fact they hang about outside the Group 1-3 section long before boarding and often form their own queue, too. I refuse to 'queue' to then queue again so as soon as Group 1 is called, I just make my way to the front on purpose. To make a point I guess.
