Contactless is
not synonymous with a card with a chip. It's something separate; the card has to have special technology built in, which is indicated by a symbol of a few curved lines, similar to the "wi-fi" symbol. It's next to the chip on this example image.
That said, even American credit and debit cards have been produced with the technology built in for the past few years, so the odds are pretty good that at least one of the cards you carry has it. (If not, you should be able to get a replacement from the card issuer without too much trouble.)
