EDIT: Asked for the River View Premium Suite at checkin. Checkin agent said she would upgrade me to that room but when I got to the room it was in fact a Skyline view Junior Suite. I went back to checkin desk and they said they could move me to the River View Premium Suite the next day, which I accepted.

While the Skyline View Junior Suite is very spacious and a decent upgrade over a standard room, it is quite dark and feels a little bit like a large bare, dated living room with a bed in the middle. The River View Premium Suite is renovated and a significant improvement in view, quality and layout. I would recommend pushing for this room as an upgrade over the junior suite - if both are available.
