status i’m asssuming what you mean so you should get free seating however yes what you’ve experienced is a common fault. So worth adding after youve booked and try seating again.
As per the fare rules you’ve text you’ve quoted you will pay difference in fare.
So whether you will pay or not simply depends on the cost of the new flights and if they are the same or a higher cost.
If you are making a flight only booking, provided the flight is more than 24 hours away when you book, you will get a 24 hour cooling off period.
