Interestingly, and seemingly for no reason, this started "working" on the 4th day of my stay at this hotel. It definitely connects to the Auto Connect SSID, however this network was much slower than the regular hotel Wi-Fi SSID, and continuously kept disconnecting on me.
I've now turned off the feature in the apps, lol.
