Could someone with a better memory than me please remind me when - typically, historically - the autumn sale kicks in? From what I recall there's usually one more or less after the August bank holiday.

Context is that VS are significantly undercutting BA on a couple of routes I'm looking at for next Easter. If BA cut prices soon, great, if not, VS get my money.

Mind you, Norse is doing returns to BGI and MBJ for £350 in the school hols. No luggage, no food, no seat selection, no OTA that I can find to package it, and an interesting note on the website that it's subject to government approval. But that's just insanely cheap.
