EWR-SFO 8/9/23, 772 - Polaris configuration, F Cabin, 1D&G - MP Platinum (for 9 more days)
- Preorder never opened that I could see. No alerts, checked every day, never saw it.
- PDB was sparkling wine only. Didn't ask or hear anyone ask for different
- Orders taken GS & 1K then F to B. We were offered only Butternut Squash Ravioli and Thai Green Curry in the first row
- Drink orders taken at the same time - Wine offered was "Red or White or Sparkling" I could see multiple reds on the cart in the galley, drinks cart never came down the aisle
- Drinks, warm nuts, and dinner all delivered at once on a single tray with tablecloth on the tray
- The food was decent - I had the Ravioli.
- Missus had a gluten free meal (preordered) which was a chicken curry that she enjoyed and was not spicy (important). They gave her a standard roll which is kind of a funny gluten free add on
- Sundae/cheesecake followed an hour or so later. Goldilocks ice cream temp, not too hot, not too cold.
- Lots of pro-active drink refills
- 2 hours from landing "Would you like hummus or cheese plate" not shown, just asked
- The crew was really friendly and mostly pro-active, they just took a lot of service shortcuts
