Yes, that's what I did for an earlier trip. My concern is that immediately upon installation, the eSIM will have roaming on and connect to some network, thus starting the clock. Ideally, the eSIM should install with all settings off and let the user turn them on when desired.
How can I be sure that no network local to home will be a roaming partner? Thanks.
