Thank you for your detailed feedback! I'll look for anything German then, but if not I'll probably go for a Toyota. Adaptive CC and CarPlay would be the most important features—but I assume that the latter would be standard on basically any rental car (except Teslas) these days, no?

The National app tells me to go to the Emerald Aisle to pick any car, despite my EU license in my profile. I have status via Amex Platinum and a US address on file, maybe that matters.

I heard in some markets in Asia, Jeep is considered an American luxury brand and competes head to head with BMWs, Mercedes etc in those markets. Funnily enough, here in Germany (most) BMWs, Mercedes, etc aren't seen as premium cars either 😅
