Looked like a nice room.
About two hours later, another e-mail, subject:
"Unable to Accommodate Suite Night Award"
Checked online, THREE King Suites still available for booking.
With an hour left to cancel, I canceled my reservation and booked into a Hyatt. I'm not giving $1200 to a hotel that would pull this. And tying up my suite night certs for 7-10 days?! I guess they aren't worth anything anyway. Really disappointed.
Ugh, one of my favorite hotels of all time, hate to see them do this, but its just par for the course nowadays with Marriott. There is no effort put into holding hotels accountable for being a part of Marriott Bonvoy.
