As a recent convert to Hilton, I was surprised that none of the Hilton properties I've stayed so far had Chromecast. This includes new hotels opened less than 5 years ago. It's 2023 and the only option they offer is a linear TV (to be fair, few properties had screen mirroring but that's not really useful for entertainment).
All the corporate talk about digital experience, and focus on new generation of guests and their needs, but in reality they can't even deliver something as basic as letting me watch a movie on Netflix... This is probably the most important reason why I'm considering switching back to another programme.
Also, their TVs tend to be very small and not just at the cheap brands (HGI, Hampton) but even at Hiltons.
