There are also places on the same side as the LRT station. I don’t know the exact boundary, but this hotel is either in, or directly adjacent to, Brickfields which is basically Little India. If you’re adventurous and don’t mind walking along a major road (on a tiny sidewalk) Sentral and the attached mall is only 10 minutes away. The area isn’t necessarily tourist friendly, but like pretty much any neighborhood there are plenty of places to eat and purchase necessities within a few blocks. I’ve had some very tasty meals at spots I just wandered across while walking around.
