Equipment change in progress
I'm trying to book DSM-GSO tomorrow/Thursday morning with return GSO-DSM Friday night about 6pm-ish. Two options on return for connection, CLT or DFW. For both options, the last flight to DSM is showing a completely wide open seat map ... which obviously isn't right. I could select all the flights, seats, input CC but then get "Something went wrong, system having trouble, try again later". Tried on computer website and app, multiple times. Finally called in, agent also got error messages, then finally got one that said "Equipment change in progress."
So, any idea how long that takes to update? Have backup flights on UA (easy cancel with UA) but timing is better DSM-GSO on AA, as I work when I land.
Update: been 2 hrs since my call. Now does say "2 seats available" but still showing wide open seat map and won't let booking go thru. United gets my $1200. I'm moving on!
