I have found Avios availability from EDI to SYD next year and plan to use a 241 and take my friend to Australia and New Zealand. There is availability starting in EDI, but not starting from LHR.

When you book a LHR - SYD flight online you get the option of a stopover in SIN.

When you book EDI - SYD, the stopover option is LON.

I tried calling the GGL line to ask if a SIN stopover was possible but the person I just spoke to seemed a bit confused by what I was asking and I thought I might try back tomorrow.

Does anyone know if a SIN stopover should be possible when the origin of a SYD flight is not LON? There are Avios flights available for the different days for the whole trip, although I know that doesn't guarantee they will be available for part of the trip, but the system won't actually let me check this option anyway.
