Further back. Initially $1000/year - a lot then, now look at... well... many cards today.
I got it in the early-2000s when I was an expat.

It increased to $2500 in ~2008-2010, after I had gone back to the Platinum Card.

Let's see how AU's access to Sky Club is affected...
