I totally get the preference for gasoline cars on longer road trips. I'm just saying that I don't recall Hertz ever promising free Supercharging as a perk for renting a Tesla. From reading here, it sounds like it was a loophole people were happy to take advantage of while it lasted.

If it was indeed a thing they promised, and then they changed the rules, then yes that absolutely changes the math and could affect whether or not I rented an EV in the future.
