I'd contact the hotel before the stay regardless because it could be an error in their system doing this to other people. I wouldn't have a negative tone since it's a stay coming up and you are coming anyway but it could save another member who has money taken out of their account for a stay not coming up for months.

I will give my experience, when they say they will charge X dollars on the reservation regardless which is usually a day or some weird number they never do.
