Monday to Friday it's much more unlikely that you will have both line and station closures in London.

However, I would recommend staying at the other Moxy at Stratford station. A lot more tube/metro and train lines pass through that station making any potential transport hiccups much less of a problem, as you have many alternatives.

The moxy excel is cheaper than other hotels because you are in the middle of nowhere with no shops or restaurants, and with limited transport connections, which become even more limited on some weekends.
