I was there last week and would like to say something about transportation. It is two DLR stations away from Elisabeth line which was great. Considering the price and Elisabeth line - I would say it becomes hidden gem in London. The same is true for nearbay Aloft for which the situation is even better - it is practically on DLR station and one station away from Elisabeth line. I used both hotels last week, and I am sure I will use them again.
Be careful.
They often close the Elizabeth line section of the station ("custom house for excel") on weekends, leaving one semi stranded.
Means much longer journeys and more complicated transfers starting at canning town station.
