You can only enter your membership number if you choose a car from Hertz, Thrifty, or Dollar. Since Hertz owns Thrifty and Dollar. There will be a text field visible on the last page before paying for the rental. It doesn't work for other rental companies like Avis though.

Less and less impressed with this C1VX card. C1 has a presumed partnership with Hertz, i.e. President's Circle. At first, there were no Hertz vehicles of any type available, for a month out, at DEN. I was able to find what I wanted via Hertz direct and via Autoslash with no restrictions, i.e. no prepay and can cancel.
Tried the C1 portal one more time. Got Hertz this time for the dates I wanted, albeit at a rate of about $30 more than my other reservations. But I had to prepay 75% and cancellable up to 48 hours prior to pickup and no modifications allowed. The consolation is that I still have the $300 annual travel credit and 10X points.
You'd think there'd be more availability/flexibility between C1 and its preferred partner, Hertz.
