I much, much prefer trip credits. I had 6 trip credits going into this year that I used to cover most of 2 different trips, easily, effortlessly, online.
Respectfully disagree. I personally value the flexibility of being able to book to/from where I want. I do, however, recognize the difficulties in being able to use flight credits (i.e. having to call in), but that's AA's own fault anyway.
