I wonder what this will look like come summertime - with the retiming to QR hub banks as part of this move, the r/t will take up 2 full frames that could be used for 2 Europe flights instead. Seems a bit wasteful, especially given AA is still stretched thin for widebody aircraft relative to DL/UA. I completely thought they'd scrap it after the NEA rather than move it. Does anyone know if this is a contractual requirement with QR as part of that wider strategic alliance?
