I am a geek and record my arriving gate / departing gate on my flight log. I only travel on the SJC service. This past 12 months I have done 8 roundtrips. So that is 16 gates at LHR. 6 of those gates have been bus gates.

Thinking it was just me I looked at last months SJC service. It operated 29 days out of 31 in July. 20 times a bus gate was used!

Thanks for info. How does one find out which gate an aircraft arrives to or leaves from if one is not on the aircraft? Replay the prev. flight on FR24 or something and see where it stops?
