You do have access on a pure reward ticket, i.e one not upgraded from Y to J using Avios. I believe they use the contract lounge when the QR lounge is closed, possibly SATS. I went to it last year.
Yes, that should be fine. You will most likely need to pass thru transit security first. Then I believe the process is going the wrong way through transit security and through arrivals.
How does this work in practice. Aren't they on different levels etc? Also, would this be possible if baggage is being collected. I am thinking for a >24hr stopover.
