I am starting to question the value of EXP over PlatPro? AA is now agressively pushing F upgrades (at low prices) and even selling F seats cheaper than coach seats when coach is 1/2 full. My near term experience here is on E75 flights - less than 1000 miles.

I keep getting bombarded with emails and messages on the app. And on my flights AA has been selling F cheaper than cheapest discounted coach seat. Doesn't seem logical, other than screwing comp upgrades. Not a big deal on E75 - but I have not seen such aggressive effort here. We are talking about $290 for coach and $250 for F. Not a huge price, but why? Why sell F cheaper than coach. So F is selling out and no upgrades.
