OP is coming from PHX (aka, "the oven"). Stick with the long layover, check your bags with the travel agency at SFO, and enjoy a nice cool day day by the bay

(I'll second the Marufuku recommendation btw - have only been to Oakland location, but it is by far our favorite ramen.)
