As for comments about the usage of other Chase cards not affecting the availability of bonuses for new Chase cards, what is your documentation for that, please?

Proving a negative is problematic. That is why I asked for the positive:
”But has that ever happened with a Chase?”
Since the phenomenon of being denied sign-up bonuses with Amex is a well documented thing that I have personally experienced I asked if anyone has experienced it with Chase.

Years of experience applying for Chase cards and reading these forums. . . .
Amex has over the years become more selective about which customers they want to give additional cards and bonuses, and so they built the popup solution to tell you ahead of time that you won’t get the bonus. They don’t want to be in a situation where they deny the bonus after the customer has complied with the terms of the offer.
AmEx approves card applications while rejecting a sign up bonus (SUB). Chase has no such policy.
Statistically, this is shown by the total absence of any such Chase reports, contrasted with the dozens or hundreds of AmEx SUB denials.
If this is not enough,
bladerunner6, be the change you want to see! Write to Chase and ask if they have a SUB-denial policy.
And please be sure to let us know their response.
