I am in the same situation. Personally, I think it is a technical issue. Before the switchover, Rocketmiles was not eligible for the bonus, while BAAH was. But once they switched over, and are now using the RM platform on the backend, I think the bonus is not being "triggered" automatically like with BAAH.
Before the changeover:
BAAH points were posted as "HOTEL WITH BOOKAAHOTELS.COM," with "Award Miles" and "Loyalty Points." The Loyalty Points shown (in the same tile) were 20 or 30% more, based on where you are in the program.
RM points were posted as "ROCKETMILES HOTEL BOOKING," with Award Miles and Loyalty Points showing the same (no bonus)
After the changeover:
AAH points were posted as "ROCKETMILES BASE MILES." My positive thinking is that we will be getting the bonus miles on top of the BASE MILES.
At the end of the day, new hotel reservations are being made through AAdvantagehotels.com, which is plastered all over the terms and conditions as qualifying for the bonus.
