From the perspective of the sign-up bonus, I don't think it has to be one or the other. Given you can only hold either the CSP or the CSR at one time (minus the corner cases already discussed in this thread) and you can only get one SUB on either card every 48 months, just take whichever one has the better SUB offer at a given time (and that does change occasionally), then rotate to the other 48 months later, then rinse and repeat...
