Red wine flight. Suggested by the stewardess… I’d forgotten how good/different it is when you get a crew with experience and confidence and they want to have fun too…

Beef wellington. If it’s on the menu then it’s the pick of the starters. Really excellent. (And sat here wondering why on Earth they don’t prepare main course steak that way, rather than recook it to death.). It’s really good.

White wines… gosh this could get messy. (And the pink one.)

Chicken curry ++. I kid you not, this is superb. Shockingly good. Missus had the Halibut… she didn’t make me swap with her so it was clearly good.

Went full-pig (cheese and desert) - picture proves is allowed. Port was good. They didn’t load desert wine. How. How do you not do that. It’s not hard. Says what wines to load on the menu. Pick up bottle. Put on plane. Not hard. My mum could do it.

Oh gosh…. Just spotted my window is being held in by a ton of gaffer tape. Oh well… last meal was decent anyway.
Love this, glad it’s not just me that loves a bit of over it doing it in First on leisure.

7 hour straight sleep (of 10) - MEX-LHR

Just did our first trip with a toddler which, whilst infinitely easier than other cabins (with excellent crew), was very different. Still managed quite a bit of the above but with frequent walking around and sitting up whilst she slept in an enormous seat.
