Whether it’s Prosecco or not, I’d be better off if it isn’t because there’s not a single Prosecco I’ve liked before. I have liked other sparkling wines like Cava or a Cremant but for some reason I always taste such an off putting thing the times I’ve had Prosecco at a lounge or somewhere. Shame because I love Italy and the food there…but Prosecco no thanks, I’d rather get a cava even if it’s cheaper.
Glera isn't Chardonnay. As noted, the Ferrari is 100% chardonnay, like any blanc de blancs. Aside from differences in dosage, there are a very small number of people in the world who can tell the difference between a grape grown in one plot of land vs. the other. They tend to already know which wines are made of which gapes.
