Man...that's just another reason to not use booking.com in my books. THey also don't stand by their "your reservation is guaranteed" statement either. There was a miscommunication between them and a hotel once, and they just said "the hotel screwed it up, not us, so it's their problem." They were right (we saw the booking communication sheet, and the hotel had misread it), but that didn't change the fact that the hotel had zero rooms and we were stuck in Mexico with no hotel.
