It's certainly possible that OBP00- fare basis codes with Z booking class from AC are acceptable - this would be based on whatever technical integration agreement AC and EK made when they launched Aeroplan redemptions. If the EK website shows it's ticketed (which wasn't the case for the other poster's situation despite having a ticket), it is much more likely that it is fine. If someone wants to make a fresh test booking in EK F and see what the fare basis code is, that would probably answer that question.

Usually fare basis starts with the same letter as fare class (well, for traditional, simple airlines), and yes I know the US big 3 have been utilizing dual-code (or whatever it is called) pricing techniques where fare basis doesn't necessarily start with the same letter as booking code.
