As a globalist on a 3 night stay, was given a room in the west tower (referred to as "Premium" on their page) with a lake view. Beautiful view of the river and lake, and the renovated room was just as nice as I remembered. The hard product was all great - water pressure good, sink good, tables were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. My biggest issue was the abysmal wifi - I was barely able to browse the internet, let alone load videos. My guess is that it's simply due to the overwhelming demand from Lollapalooza, but I feel like the hotel should be able to prepare for that? Even switching to data didn't work in most cases, so it was definitely partly due to the volume of travelers.

Breakfast was in American Craft, and we decided to order from the menu, which was a welcome change from the buffet. I wasn't charged for the breakfast at all, so it seems like globalists are able to order from the menu or from the buffet.
as a globalist, they told me breakfast was in the lounge. Did they tell you about American Craft during checkin or did you just dine there and not get charged?
